This role, focused on Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing, requires quick learners with strong analytical skills to master business knowledge; integrate information across multiple business systems and build relationships with key users. The role will involve understanding, leveraging and maintaining data from multiple best in class applications including SalesLogix, Business Objects XIR3.1, WebTrends, Hyperion, and A2Z.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Research, define, document and develop data collection/storage and reporting solutions
• Interact with client representatives, peers and other departments to communicate timelines, risks, business rules and status of processing tasks
• Promote standards for accurate and secure data processing and reporting
• Perform ad hoc data analyses including: exploratory data analysis, sampling and customer profiling
• Analyze current data management procedures, including reporting methods, and as necessary make recommendations for improvements.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science
• 1-2 years professional experience in development
• Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent relational database design and programming knowledge
• Knowledge of Object Oriented Design and Programming
• Strong Verbal and Written communication skills
Preferred:
• Experience in customer marketing, data segmentation and campaign analysis
• Data warehousing and requirements gathering experience very desirable
