Reporting directly to the Group Director, Human Resources, the Senior HR Generalist will provide full generalist support to several constituency groups delivering progressive HR services in the areas of: recruitment, employee relations, benefits, compensation, reward and recognition, training and development, and performance management. The selected candidate will be engaged in full-cycle recruitment as well as overseeing the new hire orientation process. S/he will aid in the selection, implementation, management and reconciliation of all benefit plans as well as act as a liaison between employees and benefit vendors/brokers. The HR Generalist ensures compliance and conducts testing, benefits and non-benefits related, in accordance with federal and state laws. Working closely with the HR team, s/he will assist with the development and implementation of new policies or programs. The selected candidate will also monitor the performance management process for several constituency groups guiding managers on career planning, training and development, and promotional opportunities. S/he will collaborate on the planning and communication of all reward and recognition programs and events.
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of five years of well-rounded generalist experience in a professional, fast-paced, small to mid size company. Experience working in an entrepreneurial or start-up environment a plus. The role is very hands-on and requires the ability to multi-task. S/he must be highly organized and have the ability to shift priorities quickly to meet business demands. Candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and embrace customer service excellence. S/he must have the ability to work within a team environment, as well as independently. The selected candidate must be able to maintain confidentiality. Experience with Microsoft Office programs is essential; Visio, ADP Reportsmith, and familiarity with Applicant Tracking Software a plus.
