John M. Connolly - President & CEO, M|C Holding Corp
John has a strong passion for education. He is an expert in leading companies through change and managing critical industry shifts and regulations, and driving greater value as a result for all stakeholders. Before joining M|C Holding Corp. in 2007, he held the position of president and chief executive officer of Institutional Shareholder Services. During three years under Connolly’s leadership, the company’s global locations expanded from three to 12 offices. Prior to ISS, he founded Mainspring, Inc., a provider of strategic consulting, research and advisory services to Fortune 1000 companies. After IBM purchased Mainspring in 2001, he served as global general manager and led the integration and acquisition of PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting in 2002. This merger led to the creation of IBM Business Consulting Services. Before Mainspring and IBM, he founded Course Technology, Inc., which was purchased by The Thomson Corporation in 1992. He later became CEO of Thomson Media.
Frank Britt - General Manager, M|C Communications
Frank F. Britt joined Pri-Med in June 2007 and has overall responsibility for U.S. Education Programming at M|C Communications. His 20 years of entrepreneurial experience have consistently focused on helping build and lead tier-one solutions-based business services firms in the technology, industrial, education and consumer services industries. He has held a variety of senior level sales, marketing and operations positions. For example, he previously held a senior executive position in IBM Global Services where he led a $400 million division, and previously had run the Consumer Products business-consulting group in the U.S. Frank joined IBM after leading the retail and consumer product group at Mainspring, which was acquired by IBM in 2001. He has also held executive positions at the largest supply chain management business process outsourcing provider in the retail and consumer products industry, and retained overall day-to-day responsibility for an $11 billion supply chain shared service division. He has also served as vice president with direct responsibility for consumer marketing and merchandising at a leading e-commerce service firm after spending several years as a senior manager at Accenture and Arthur. D. Little.
Elizabeth Famiglietti - Senior Vice President, M|C Holding Corp.
Elizabeth joined M|C Holdings Corp. in 2001 as senior vice president of human resources. With more than 20 years of experience in the human resources profession, she has been instrumental in building M|C Holding Corp’s workforce, culture and employee programs. She leads the human resources team in the areas of compensation and benefits, workforce planning, organizational development and all employee programs. She previously held senior human resources positions in the high tech and health care industries. She has a bachelor’s degree from Bryant College and a master’s degree in business administration from Anna Maria College.
Stephen Henkenmeier - Chief Financial Officer, M|C Holding Corp.
Steve joined M|C Holding Corp. in 2006. He previously held senior level finance and business development positions at Novell, IBM and Mainspring. At Novell, he was responsible for driving corporate strategy and planning as well as the global pricing and licensing programs. Steve was also a partner in IBM’s Business Consulting Services group where he managed solutions for the financial services sector. Steve led the finance, operations and legal team at Mainspring before it was acquired by IBM in 2001. He was also a senior manager in the technology audit practice at PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Steve, a certified public accountant, has a bachelor’s degree from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in business administration from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Nigel Fletcher-Jones - Senior Vice President and Publishing Director, M|C Communications
Nigel joined M|C Communications in July 2008 as Senior Vice President and Publishing Director from the Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT where he was Communications Director. Since the early 1990s, Nigel has held executive level positions with international publishing companies including Blackwell Publishing Inc., Nature Publishing Group (where he was the Publisher of the highly-influential Nature research journals), Elsevier and Cell Press. Throughout his career, he has advised CEOs on strategic issues influencing the global publishing industry and has successfully developed many research products and services for the both biomedical and clinical medicine markets. Nigel was one of the pioneers of online journal publishing and continues to be deeply involved in the development of community-targeted web services. He holds a PhD in Biological Anthropology from the University of Durham (UK).
David Murphy - Managing Director, M|C Communications
David joined M|C Communications after working for 13 years in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, where he held various sales, sales management and marketing positions at Parke-Davis, Pfizer and Genzyme. At M|C Communications, David is responsible for aquiring promotional support for Pri-Med Access programs in the United States. In 2005, he helped lead Pfizer’s commercial pre-launch planning and successful launch of Lyrica (pregablin capsules) for diabetic neuropathic pain and epilepsy in the United States. David has a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the College of Holy Cross and a master’s degree in business administration from Boston University School of Management.
Marissa Seligman, PharmD - Chief Clinical & Regulatory Affairs and Compliance Officer, Senior Vice President, Pri-Med Institute
Prior to joining Pri-Med Institute, Marissa held a variety of positions in continuing education and medical/clinical affairs. With more than 20 years experience, she is an authority in health care and continuing education. She was director of medical communications at ViroPharma Incorporated, and vice president of scientific affairs/quality assurance at SCP Communications, Inc. She also served as executive director at Thomas R. Beam, Jr., Memorial Institute for Continuing Education and Institutional Review Board. She also served as executive director of the Beam Institute for Continuing Education and Institutional Review Board. As chief clinical and regulatory affairs and compliance officer, Marissa oversees the accredited provider operations of Pri-Med Institute and manages M|C Communications compliance programs and activities. She has served on a number of journal editorial boards and is currently associate editor of the Alliance for Continuing Medical Education (ACME) publication, The Almanac. She is also secretary of the National Commission on Certification of CME Professionals (NC-CME). Marissa earned a bachelor’s in pharmacy from Long Island University and her PharmD from Northeastern University.
Dara Warn - Vice President, M|C Communications
Dara has driven marketing, strategic partnerships and sales efforts at Pri-Med since the launch of Pri-Med’s first network of local conferences. She currently oversees the healthcare sales business development for Pri-Med leading a team that works with the top 20 pharmaceutical companies and over 100 healthcare organizations. She recently launched Pri-Med Access with American College of Physicians and new digital opportunities. Dara has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania.
